Cat Grass Seeds

Avena sativa

Do you want to keep your cats from eating potentially harmful houseplants, or coarse, outdoor grass that sticks to the back of their tongues and might contain pesticides? Because it's grown indoors, fibrous cat grass can be served fresh, year-round to assist your cat with digestion, and may help prevent furballs. Grass is ready for cats to eat when it is 2"-4" high; place near their water or food bowl for only a few minutes so that they don't binge. Feed for a few minutes at a time on a regular basis to get your kitty's tummy used to it, allowing absorption of all the nutrients. Great for dogs, too!

Grew Fast, but Cat not interested at all!

My daughter and I worked hard to get these seeds and plant them. They did grow faster than expected. We were so excited to give to our cat for the first time, and he was not interested at all! He wanted nothing to do with the grass. My young daughter was very disappointed, and it was her first time planting something.

    Hey GardenMama,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us. We really appreciate you and your daughter putting in the effort to grow these seeds, and we're so glad to hear they grew faster than expected! We're sorry to hear that your cat wasn't interested in the grass though - we know how disappointing that must have been, especially since this was your daughter's first planting project. We've reached out to you via email to see how we can help make this right. Your feedback means a lot to us, and we're grateful for you giving our product a try. Keep on growing 🌻

    Cat Grass Seeds

I've bought "pre-sprouted" cat grass from natural food stores. Seeds from online sources. My cats love this grass the most . My little boy still doesn't know how to eat straight from the pot, so he just buries his head in the whole thing.

Botanical Interests you need larger packaging - (2 or 3 pound packs, perhaps :) )

    Hey Bonita,

We're so happy to hear that your cats are loving the Cat Grass Seeds so much! It's awesome that they prefer it over the pre-sprouted options you've tried before, and we love that your little guy is enjoying it in his own special way by diving right in. That's so cute!

Thanks so much for the feedback about packaging sizes - we really appreciate you sharing that suggestion. It's great to know that you'd be interested in larger packs! Thanks so much for being part of the growing community! Keep on growing 🌻
